Start with the short version.
You’re Flocked is an iPhone app that shows nearby surveillance cameras, warns you as you approach, and plans routes that pass fewer of them. Camera locations come from community-contributed map data. Route planning runs on the phone.

A few details
worth getting right.
You’re Flocked makes surveillance cameras easier to see. It doesn’t claim to make someone invisible to them.
The map is a community effort.
Locations are contributed by people. Coverage can be incomplete or out of date, and camera-aware routing can’t guarantee a camera-free trip.
On-device doesn’t mean entirely offline.
Route planning and proximity calculations happen on the phone. Fresh camera lookups and Apple map imagery use network services. The privacy page explains the distinction in plain terms, and links to the full document.
It’s an independent project.
You’re Flocked is inspired by DeFlock. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Flock Safety. The current app is an iPhone beta distributed through TestFlight; Android is planned.
